Virtual Learning Resources6

While we know everyone’s day may look different—some going to daycare and others staying home—creating a schedule will be important in the success of your child’s learning. We know children thrive when they know what is expected. Perhaps create a daily schedule that they can check off each activity as they do it (we all feel good when we can check something off our list). I have included a link to a sample schedule that might work for your family if your child is at home. If they are in daycare, please find time to have them complete their learning each day. During this time, it will be important to keep their regular school night bedtime.

Teacher Blogs: Teacher Blogs will serve as your main resource for students to access learning tasks and resources while school is not in session.

Teachers bring new ‘Mindset’ to math class after workshop

If there’s one thing that’s become more important than ever in education over the last month, it’s flexibility. Teachers have initiated online learning on the fly, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and students and parents have risen to the challenge.

First Day of School

IMG 2332 2 This is my view of the first day of school. Quiet hallways, empty classrooms; not a teacher or student in sight. But, wait! It is the first day of school! The first day and two weeks are an important part of Étude. We use it to intentionally establish our community and culture for the school year. Today is all about culture, building a safe culture.
