Cookware Campaign

Dear First Grade Parents:

As you already know, ESAA Teachers are extremely creative when it comes to finding learning opportunities for your child(ren). Ms. Marzouki’s students have always enjoyed cooking and applying their reading skills to following a recipe. In order to increase their learning-fun and minimize the impact on school staff, we are in need of some gently used cookware for student use in the school kitchen. Announcing our first ever….

Cookware Campaign!

Items Needed:

  • Pots and Pans (various sizes)
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Wisks
  • Ladles
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Wooden Spoons
  • Service Spoons
  • Spatulas
  • Kitchen Timer
  • Aprons
  • Oven Mitts and Pot Holders
  • Trivets
  • Bake ware (Cookie Sheets, Muffin Tins, 9x13 Pans)
  • Corning ware/Casserole Dishes
  • Serving Bowls
  • Serving Spoons
  • Serving Plates/Platters

If you are able to donate any of these items, please place them in the bin near Room 17 marked “ESAA Student Kitchenware”.  If you have already donated your used items to some other worthy cause and still want to help, please consider making a $1 or $2 donation.  At the end of our cookware campaign, I will procure any remaining items from local re-sale businesses.

Please bring your donations to school by Monday, October 15th.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Sincerely,

Pamela Koehn Oestreicher (a/k/a Halah’s mom)
