Wednesdays | 4-6 PM July 18, 25 and Aug 1 Étude High School and Aug 8, 15 and 22 South High School

Performing for a room full of people doesn't have to be scary. Join high school forensics coaches Dan Burkey (Étude) and Ben Kroll (Sheboygan South) for a series of low-pressure, non-competitive workshops that will help you build skills for all kinds of spoken performance, from poetry and acting to speechmaking. Each week, we'll focus on a different aspect of performance creation, such as physical acting, making up a speech on the spot, interpreting poetry and prose, mashing up multiple genres and cutting a text for performance, or the art of transforming a manuscript into a prop. Whether you are new to performing or a veteran public speaker, there will be fun opportunities to grow as a speaker, actor, or performer.

Please fill out this form to help give us an idea of how many participants to prepare for each day (we'll need to print copies and get other materials ready). Feel free to invite anyone ages 13-18 who might be interested to drop in with us, even if they've never done forensics before.
